Grange Road Methodist Church is part of Castle Eden Circuit of Methodist Churches, which are a network of Christian congregations in and around the northeast and County Durham. They all work together, to share the love of God with everyone. Bringing people together in worship, bringing Christ’s love to the communities by affirming, encouraging, supporting and helping the Churches to achieve their missions. We are people who worship, witness and work together to share the love of God with everyone. God has called us to serve the present age and look forward with hope.

Morning worship We gather at 10.30am on Sundays for worship. Services vary in content – we prayer ,learn and laugh together

Children and Young People are very welcome to come along on Sunday mornings to worship. they can join in prayers and be part of morning worship. there is pencils and paper also books in the children’s welcome area.

Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) is regularly celebrated and all are welcome at the Lord’s Table, either to receive the bread and wine or a blessing, should they prefer. With parental permission, children are also welcome to receive the bread and wine. Please feel at ease remaining in your seat if you do not wish to come forward.

Christian Festivals are celebrated with special services and we regularly join in united services with St George’s United Reformed Church. and join our circuit churches for joint worship. (Coronavirus Restrictions may be in place)

you will be aware that the covid rules are changing. It is no longer a legal requirement to wear masks in a public buildings.
